Día de los Muertos: Day of the Dead, a Mexican fiesta, a day to celebrate, remember and prepare special meals in honor of those who left. On this day in Mexico, the streets near the cemeteries are filled with confetti decorations, flowers, candy calaveras (skeletons and skulls), and parades.
It is believed that the spirits of the dead visit their families on October 31 and leave the second in November.
To celebrate, the families make altars and place ofrendas (offerings) foods, such as the Pan de muertos baked in shapes and figures on the skulls, candles, incense, yellow marigolds known cempazuchitl (also spelled zempasuchil), and especially for the soul party is located on the altar. Jones was discovered by police after being arrested for spraying a group of people with pepper spray.
