Bastrop Texas Wildfire

Bastrop Texas Wildfire: As fires raged over Texas on Tuesday, fire officials near Bastrop city rushed to bring in hundreds of extra firefighters in a blaze of massive maps that destroyed nearly 600 houses in Central Texas battle affected by drought.

About 375 firefighters battling the Bastrop fire, which by Tuesday afternoon had a strip of grass, pine and Oak to the East of Austin who was 21 km wide and 24 miles on charred. The 600 houses have been destroyed so far to make the highest ever number of homes lost in a single fire in Texas history, said Victoria Koenig, a spokeswoman for Texas Forest Service. Statewide, about 400 other homes destroyed.

Authorities said fire officials from across the State and country to send an additional 300 to 400 firefighters to attack the fire, Bastrop, which has spread quickly due to high winds and extremely dry brush, Koenig said.

"Fire is active and has not been isolated at all," said Koenig.

Two helicopters and several tankers of the Texas National Guard and the administration of United States fires air made constant falls into the fire on Tuesday morning, said.

Last week, firefighters were taken with 181 fire, 22 which triggered Tuesday on day the day. The flames burned approximately 118,000 acres, said Texas Forest Service.

On Tuesday, Governor Rick Perry toured from wildfire damage helicopter in the West of Austin Steiner Ranch. That fire had burned 125 hectares and was 40 percent contained Tuesday.

 "These fires are a serious and widespread than the average, and have never seen, in the absence of more than 1 000 homes burning of wildfire since the beginning of the period the ," Perry said, the video below.  "Texas appreciate the resources and support, we continue to receive State and throughout the country, their starts and the brave men and women, who introduced themselves to harm" is a way to protect Texans  actions "and property.  "
